2009/10 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON FIXTURES
Round 1 - 18th October 2009 - Glen Lough Farm, Glen Vine, hosted by Western AC
Round 2 - 15th November 2009 - Nobles Park, Douglas, hosted by Manx Harriers
Round 3 - 6th December 2009 - Crossags Farm, Ramsey, hosted by Northern AC

Round 4 (incorporating the IOM Cross Country Championships) - 24th January 2010 - Glen Lough Farm, Glen Vine, hosted by Western AC

Round 5 - 14th February 2010 - Crossags Farm, Ramsey, hosted by Northern AC

There will be races for all age categories from Under 9s to Seniors and Veterans. There will also be a ‘Short Course’ race option available for U17, U20, Senior and Veteran competitors, usually over a distance of approximately 3000 metres. This would be suitable for newcomers to cross country who may not feel ready to tackle the full age group distances, or perhaps for track runners who are looking to build endurance over the winter. All are welcome, especially newcomers.

Scoring will be the same as last season, with double points being awarded for the Championship event on 24th January. To complete the series, you must either:

1 – Do the Championship Round and a minimum of 2 others, or

2 – If you miss the Championship Round, all of the other 4 events must be completed.
Further information will follow as the series approaches.
