MANX GAS CROSS CHALLENGE 2008/9

DATES &VENUES

Round 1 – Sunday 12th October at Nobles Park, Douglas – hosted by IOMVAC

Round 2 – Sunday 9th November at Glen Lough Camp Site, Glen Vine – hosted by Western AC

Round 3 – Sunday 30th November at Crossags Farm, Ramsey – hosted by Northern AC

Round 4 (incorporating IOM Cross Country Championships) – Sunday 1st February 2009 at Pulrose Golf Course – hosted by Manx Harriers

Round 5 – Sunday 8th March at Nobles Park – hosted by Manx Harriers

Racing will start at 2pm in each event.

Scoring will be the same as last season, with double points being awarded for the Championship event on 25th January. To complete the series, you must either:

1 – Do the Championship Round and a minimum of 2 others, or

2 – If you miss the Championship Round, all of the other 4 events must be completed.

Entry Forms will be available online soon. It is also planned to have a signing-on evening at the Manx Harriers clubhouse, probably on the Friday before Round 1 – this will hopefully cut down the paperwork involved on the day of the first event.
